Halloween Friday

Spent the morning helping to turn an overslept and stressed out roomie into a harajuku girl for her office's epic costume contest. then donned a boring old shirt, boring old pants, boring old boots, boring old makeup and trudged into work 30 minutes late. why yes, i was (and am) incredibly dissappointed that our company doesn't do costumes, how did you know.


Spent copious amounts of time jealously looking at friends' play-by-play updates of crazy office costume parties. the end.

Pre-Winter Chill 2

After nearly freezing to death in the office yesterday, I pulled out the big guns and layered on what must have been more than 10 pounds of solid clothing.
It didn't work. The chill inside my office has a way of seeping through every layer of cloth and flesh to chill my very blood and bone. i might not make it through this winter.

Pre-Winter Chill.

The office was so cold today I attempted to thaw my fingers out by the heat of my PC.
It didn't work.
I wished to replace my PC with a piece-of-crap one with a defective cooling system overheated to the brink of explosion.
While I was at it, I also wished for a bonfire, a warm cat on my lap, and USB powered heated boots.

Free Coffee.

I don't drink coffee but i've always loved how coffee smells.
So today when our microsoft rep came over with starbucks coffees for the lot of us, i took a nice long drag of inhale before throwing it away.

Fail.

i have absolutely no groove. i am also as flexible as a log.
Thus try as i may (and how i try!) i cannot for the life of me keep my "moves" from looking like the epileptic seizures that they are not.

Split Personality.

sometimes i am happy and love my coworkers and think they are so funny and wonderful... yet other times i am angry and hate my coworkers and think they are stupid and lame. today, though, i was oscillating between happy-version and angry-version feverishly and without warning. i feel a bit sorry for the boys... i wish there was some way to warn them beforehand.

Back In Action!

Richard! My new favorite coworker!! who worked so hard the past two days attempting to rid my old computer of viruses, only to scrap it and end up building me a whole new one! Hurrayyy for the tech support dep!!!

Hiatus.

I've been unable to and will be unable to post drawings for the next couple days till my work PC is fully recovered from its current virus infested state. For the time being, he is functional yet spotty when it comes to certain webpages. Much frustration ensues.

Morning Call.

Every morning walking into the office I announce (nay, shout)"GOOD MORNING" at everyone only to get ignored every time without fail. The boys are not morning people.

Bubble Time.

CoffeeMaker.

I was initially voted to make coffee for the office because 1) I'm the only female in the office and koreans are sexist like that, and 2) The coffee I made tasted better than everyone else's.
Since then, i've been trying to get myself out of the coffee-making business (i don't even drink coffee), attempting to foil the taste by insanely and mercilessly skewing the coffeegrinds-to-water ratio but to no avail. These people just have no taste buds... or most likely my terrible coffee has destroyed what little tastebuds they may have had to start with.

Lost: Umbrella.

Paused to Ponder after I had stepped into a highly reflective puddle in the company of all my male coworkers en route to lunch.
